Cookie Policy
How Deep MM uses cookies and similar technologies on this website and the Deep MM terminal.
Last updated: April 22, 2026
1. About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Deep MM, Inc. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on deepmarketmaking.org and the Deep MM web terminal. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
The Deep MM platform serves institutional fixed-income desks and uses cookies primarily to maintain authenticated terminal sessions, remember display preferences (such as column configuration for the bond pricing grid), and measure aggregate platform usage. We do not use cookies to serve advertising.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow us to recognise your device across a session, store your preferences, and understand how the platform is used. We also use related technologies such as browser local storage to persist session state on the terminal.
3. How We Use Cookies
| Category | Examples | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Terminal session token, CSRF token, cookie-notice state (local storage key: cookie-banner-dismissed-ts) | Session to 12 months |
| Preferences | Terminal column layout, display theme | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Self-hosted platform usage analytics, anonymised page and feature-access counts | Up to 13 months |
| Marketing | Not currently used | N/A |
4. Notice and Choice
We operate under a notice-only consent model. Cookies in the strictly necessary, preferences, and analytics categories may be placed when you access the Service. A notice banner informs you of this use. You can opt out of analytics cookies by using the cookie banner or by configuring your browser to block cookies. Opting out of strictly necessary cookies will affect your ability to log in to the terminal.
5. Universal Opt-Out Signals
Where applicable state law requires (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Oregon), we honour browser-transmitted opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") for sale and targeted-advertising categories. Because we do not engage in targeted advertising or sale of personal information, GPC signals are used to suppress analytics initialisation on a best-efforts basis.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be set by third-party service providers supporting our infrastructure, such as our hosting or analytics platform. We maintain data-processing agreements with such providers limiting their use of data collected on our behalf to the delivery of those services.
7. Managing Cookies
- Use our cookie banner (accessible at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer) to update your analytics preference.
- Your browser settings allow you to block or delete cookies; see aboutcookies.org for browser-specific instructions.
- Blocking all cookies will prevent terminal login and session maintenance.
8. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy when our cookie practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any revision.
